Our indicators are written in a universal programming language and contained in a digital library called kptrade.dll. When you run our installer it creates a folder on your computer under C drive Program Files. The folder name is specific to the application you download. For example; if you download the TRADESTATION version then the folder is KWIKPOP for TRADESTATION. For NinjaTrader the folder is KWIKPOP for NINJATRADER and so forth. Once you've run the installer you can always find the folder by going to MY COMPUTER >> LOCAL DRIVE C >> Program Files >> KWIKPOP for ??? If the Kwik*POP folder in C:\Program Files is ever deleted, the program will no longer work.
SPECIAL NOTE TO WINDOWS VISTA USERS: Before running the Kwik*POP Installer you must first disable your USER ACCOUNT settings. This can be done by going into your Control Panel. Open USER ACCOUNTS and click TURN USER ACCOUNTS On/Off. Uncheck the box and then RESTART your computer for the change to take effect. This is a real pain in the butt .. eh? After the KP Installer is finished you should go back and reactivate your user account settings once again.

INDICATOR UPGRADES: Periodically, we upgrade our indicator inventory. In order to use the new indicators simply go to this link and run the appropriate installer again. INDICATORS http://www.traders-syndicate.com/s_public/return2.php4 At the prompt to OVERWRITE click YES TO ALL. This will keep the old indicators and add in the new ones or any modifications to older indicators.
MOST COMMON INSTALLATION ISSUES: Windows Vista users forget to disbable their USER ACCOUNT SETTINGS before running the installer. This prevents the installer from loading properly. Please remember to disable the User Account settings before running the Installer.
The only other issue is when the user has their charting program located in a folder other than C:\Program Files. For example; on some of the new 64bit applications there is a second Program Files X936 ( or other named) folder under C Drive. In that instance simply go into the original C:\Program Files and copy the folder called KWIKPOP for TRADESTATION (or whichever platform you have). Now paste that folder into the Program Files X936 folder under C Drive. Just remember that our installer places the KWIKPOP for TRADESTATION (or whichever platform you have) folder under C:\Program Files. If your chart application (TradeStation, NinjaTrader etc.) is located in a different directory or drive you'll need to copy our folder into the same location.
